Acceptance of these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, the tool is not for you and you should stop using it. There is no registration step at which you could be asked to accept them again, so this page is the record.
Acceptable use
Use the tool for anything you like, commercial or personal. There is no restriction on the kind of text you run through it and no licence fee.
The one expectation is that you do not attempt to break the site for other people — no automated traffic designed to exhaust resources, no attempts to inject content into the pages, and no presenting the tool as your own product.
No warranty
The tool is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It removes the characters listed in its published table, and that is the full extent of what it promises. It makes no representation about the text you run through it, about who wrote that text, or about how any other system will treat it.
Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose before you paste it. The tool does not modify your original, but you are responsible for what you do with the output.
